The Counseling Center is staffed

with doctoral-level psychologists licensed or license-eligible in North Carolina.  The staff has collectively many years of experience in college mental health and is committed to providing quality counseling services to the UNC Charlotte community.  In addition, the Center contracts with a local psychiatrist who provides consultation, evaluation, and follow-up for students interested in exploring medication in addition to individual or group counseling.

The Counseling Center serves as a training site for graduate students in psychology and counseling.  These trainees practice under the close supervision of licensed staff psychologists.
